Ant-Man

ant-man_posterAlthough Ant Man is bestowed by great performances from Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, it is ultimately a flawed film that for Marvel fans might prove to be an interesting watch. All the bells and whistles from previous Marvel films are there, including awesome visual effects and action sequences, but the premise and plot progression feels very similar to other movies from its same cinematic universe (ex: Spider Man). The foundation of an “Ant-Man” is laughable, and its main antagonist doesn’t communicate evil or danger in any way whatsoever, while the supporting cast of actors feel emotionless and two dimensional, alienating viewers with their stunted performances. Even so, it is fast paced and witty while rejoicing in its own comical proposition, and it has an emotive story at its core.
