Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation

The fifth installment in the “Impossible” series, Rogue Nation keeps what previous films have done right, continuing the formula smoothly but proposing nothing new. Although not necessarily a bad thing, this makes the film somewhat predictable as the get-into-building > steal-something – one-up-the-bad-guy linearity comes into play once again. Even so, it is a good and entertaining action movie, and puts more and more pressure on its direct rival (James Bond) to keep up with the pace, stunts, and plots. For the past few years, it has won the crown and keeps fans and newcomers to the series happy with it’s offering.
