Whiplash (2014)

Somehow, without exactly knowing why, viewers are consumed by the anxiety and stress that the movie conveys, feeling Miles Teller’s shoes as their own, his sweat and effort coursing every inch of the screen he portrays. A movie that keeps you locked in its plot from beginning to end, savoring the exquisite musical jazz back tones while feeling the pressure of a superb acting by J.K Simmons in his best role yet.
