The Royal Tenenbaums

A different take for a Wes Anderson film, albeit with usual use of color palette, typographic stance, tempo, and symmetry. Alas, it experiments with darker hues, drama, even touching on themes such as abandonment, suicide, and emotional/physical violence. But, as a purist such as Anderson himself, he never strays too much or too long in gloom, and shows the audience a tenderhearted work.
