Schindler’s List

Light plays an integral role in this Black and White film, in which color (or the lack thereof), conveys the harsh realities that will never be forgotten by war. Fiennes portrays his character with acute precision, ruthlessness. Both sides good (Neeson) and bad (Fiennes). It is, without any need of added commentary or interpretation, an empowering film, reminding each and every one of us of the horrors lived during and after W.W.II – “Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire”
