The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

Even though unmistakably a Wes Anderson film, some stretches deviate from his unique art style and storytelling. Still, fans of Anderson’s films will enjoy it. It ultimately delivers us an ending message, through comic relief we find sadness, and learn to smile through bitterness and pain. Wes might have wanted to give us something to gaze upon from his childhood, and as always, he delivers us through his film his take on life, color, and imagery.

  1. Agreed; this film has hidden depths, and goes beyond whimsy.

Anderson has a clearly defined style which makes every film of his unique – a kind of spoken journey for one to see
